My doctor visited last week for an annual check up and said that my hormones were out of balance. She decided to give me a recipe for progesterone. I heard about your medication, causing increased weight and anxiety, but do not really know what they believe, as my doctor assures me that I will not have side effects. When I was on a similar drug at the beginning of this year, I purchased a substantial amount of weight (but I was also not exercise regularly either).
I have to be cautious about weight gain with a new drug, and if so how how I can I fight it (if it is even possible)?
